Although this review is about Exposed Emos it is actually about the Emo Network. And that is because Exposed Emos should really be in the singular as, in the area within the network, there is only one video. And that, as I write, is over a year old. I'm not sure what happened to the site, but what you need to remember is that it is a video within a network that is all about Emo sex, twinks, hardcore, real guys and decent quality videos. So don't give up on me just yet. Read on.
I have to say, I have just looked at the one video that falls under the heading of this site and it's a nice one: a smooth twink with Emo-like hair, self-filmed in his room, gets his big cock out, strokes it and plays with it for ten minutes and then blows his load. There were a couple of stream and download options and the quality, considering it was homemade, was good. But that really is all you have for this one site. For sure, if you were being asked to sign up just for this then there would be a public outcry. But the thing is, you're not. When you join you can also access the content from Emo Twink, Homo Emo, and Homo Scene as well. That adds up to 201 scenes with galleries and eight photo sets. Still not a vast amount of content but it is all on the Emo and twink, alternative guy, theme.
Homo Emo is the site that has the most videos and it is the site that is giving us weekly updates as well. You click in to the main home page for all sites and then select the site you want to see from the drop down list under Videos, or from the Sites page. You can mix and match the movies, seeing index pages with samples and titles from up to three sites at once, but as Homo Scene only has 16 you may as well go for the All Videos selection and start rummaging around the index pages that way.
Each scene comes with a good choice of viewing, at least in the more recent offerings. There are up to five streams with some HD versions now on offer, and there are up to seven downloads usually with two WMV and the rest in various resolutions of Mp4, including mobile versions. The quality of the scenes is fine; they are good quality studio made porn with good looking and alternative guys. Although Exposed Emos does suggest, on its tour, that you will be seeing self-shot and homemade, user-submitted content, you're not. Apart from that one scene. What you have is a collection of solo and action movies with 18 to 24 year old Emo boys, with their alternative hairstyle and outlook on life, their emotionally charged faces and their rather strange taste in brightly coloured underwear.
They videos come with galleries as well and these were also a good quality. You can access these from the index pages or from each movies main viewing page, and each photo set holds its own amount of images. These click up into automatic slideshows, which you can stop, and the images are scaled down to fit the screen from sizes up at 666 x 1,000.
For additional content you have some bonus videos and these come from other sites. They are 356 varied, non-exclusive videos, many involving twinks but not all, and they come with the same viewing options as your main content, which makes everything very easy to use. But generally speaking the bottom line on content at Exposed Emos is that there is only the one self-shot video, and the rest of your content is from the other exclusive sites, you can access them all, you have images as well, the quality is good, the twinks are Emo and there are some bonuses as well.
What is also good about this network is that it is consistent in its design. Even when you are watching the bonus movies you have the same viewing options and the same page design. There are descriptions, linked tag words, linked model names, you have an add to favourites function, you can leave comments and you can rate the content as well. All the good and standard interactive options are there for you and functionally the site does really well.
There are very good search and sort options as well, with all kinds of ways to re-arrange your 200 or so videos. There are search options and you can filter content by a category list or by model name. The network carries a model index as well, with around 200 twinks to check out and they come with links direct to their videos.
And, for added fun, when you are watching a video here you can cut out moments from it, and then add those moments to your own playlists. You can, in effect, make up your own video of your best moments. You've still got the add to favourites function and area for full videos, or models or pics, but with the playlist function you can create and share you best minutes, and make as many playlists as you want. You can also make up your own profile and share that with other members. You find all these options in the My Account area and they are a great way to get involved and offer you more than the average members' area offers.
I have to conclude that Exposed Emos started out as a good idea: lets get Emo twinks to show themselves off; but then something didn't happen. Now though it is one way in to a set of Emo twink sites that have exclusive content, sexy guys, hardcore scenes, good quality galleries and lots of fun and interactive options.
