Gay Video 18 is a small archive of Russian 18 teen and twink videos that has not updated in several years, that comes with one basic stream only, it contains no image galleries and it gives us mid-range quality content. So, you may ask, what is the reason for signing up to it, or eve reviewing it come to that? Well, it's a collectors item and if you're looking for smooth, young looking, Russian guys with natural bodies and amateur looks; then you're in luck.
This really is a very small site and so is not going to score very well. It is from the same company that bring us the likes of Mike 18 and JS Boys, sites where there are sweet looking and I have to say, young looking, Russian boys in solo and hardcore scenes. Were assured these guys are 18 + and they always look angelic and cute. Just so the guys you find at Gay Video 18.
There are actually 43 videos here and they were all, according to the site, uploaded four years ago as I write. There is no news to say if anything else is ever going to be added, or if this is our lot, but I would say that, going by what is written, this is it. Still, it's a decent collection of guys and if you've not found this site before then you might want to click in and see a few scenes.
You can only stream them though. I didn't see any download options at all. So, unless you know a way of downloading stream only files, you have to stay as a member in order to watch the action. The content starts on the home page but the menu also carries links to Latest updates and most Popular, which is all the same content but arranged in a different order. The index pages show you sample images which change when you point your pointer at them, a rate, a title and a runtime. Actually the runtimes are good, around 20 to 30 minutes per scene usually. Click a sample image to open a viewing page in the standard way.
Here you have your stream and there was only the one choice. It was a Flash screen and rather square. Click to start the stream running and the buffering was fast enough and the stream ran smoothly. This is a mid-range quality that managed to survive at full screen, though the shape was a bit odd, being square. Some of the videos had the sound missing for some reason, in others the boys are talking at the start and they speak in (I assume) Russian. There are no subtitles though. It doesn't take long before the boys are naked and playing, either solo or together and there are some nice threesomes and group scenes in here as well as duos. Some of the guys are totally not into what they are doing though, which is a shame. You get the impression that they are only here for the money, and they've probably never sucked another cock before. They've been primed, they know what they have to do and they get on with it. Some of them take ages to get hard and some take forever to come; meanwhile they are looking around the room and practically yawning. This is pushing Amateur to the extreme.
But you get your teen and twink hardcore (with rubbers) and the cum shots and some very sweet looking models. You don't get downloads, viewing choices or galleries though and as I said, it looks like you don't get updates either. And that's it: 43 scenes and absolutely nothing else.
Well, there are links to other Popular Gay Sites in a side column. These are, as far as I know, all run by the same company and all feature the same kind of guys so they may well be of interest to you. They all require a sign up and there is no network, nothing else is included or given away for free.
But in Gay Video 18, you can at least have your say and rate the scenes as you go, and there are linked tag words, though with such a small content count it's hardly worth it. But there is such a lot that is missing: no comments, no model index, no information or details, nothing about the guys, no extras, and nothing to make you want to stay here for very long. There is a cluster of tag words and a search engine to help you around, but navigation is not an issue. There were no technical problems either, apart from some videos missing the sound.
So, not a great site but one that will appeal to everyone who loves smooth, young-looking, Russian twinks in solo and hardcore scenes. You can't download and it looks like there hasn't been an update for a long time, but there is a contact email you can use to write and ask whats going on. The quality is mid-range, there are 43 scenes that you can search and rate, but no galleries or other extras.
