Welcome to the EMO Network, and in this particular case, Homo Scene, which is all about Homos who've never done porn before. And a lot of the time these homos are Emos, and Goths and alternative twinks. So, youthful guys, hardcore movies, exclusives, galleries, a very interactive and fun to use members' area, and a lot of extras and bonuses because the actual site isn't updating any longer. But read on as there are several good reasons to sign up.
I reckon that Homo Scene has become Homo Emo, the two sites are so similar that they have merged. When you sign up here you get to access the content from Homo Emo and it holds 182 scenes, whereas Homo Scene only has 16 and the last one was added 18 months ago, so the site itself doesn't update any longer. But in total you will find access to 199 exclusive scenes and the sites, when taken together, are updating every week. On top of this you have good viewing options, galleries, a forum and bonus content.
So, click the All Videos link from the drop-down in the top menu and you find all your scenes shown with very good sample pics, a good write up each, links to tag words, galleries and the add to favourites function, and the link to where you start to view each scene. When you click that you get a page with up to five streaming versions to choose from that go from Low to 1080p (HD). I tried a few of these and, to be honest, unless you are on a really fast connection, you are going to be fine with the medium stream, it's clear, runs smoothly, and is decent enough at full screen. The low quality one wasn't bad, though it wasn't brilliant at full screen, and the full sized HD version, which opened in a new window for some reason, was pretty outstanding.
You can also download these movies and you have up to seven chicories for this as well, and they include HD Mp4 files and high WMV ones. Not every movie has the same viewing options, some of them date back to 2008 when the only choice for streaming was one Flash version, with some QuickTime and WMV download options as well, but generally speaking you get a decent amount of viewing choices and you won't get let down by the quality.
The guys are the thing that sets what is basically a twink site apart from other twink sites. These guys are mainly Goths and EMOs, long floppy hair, eye make op, tattoos, alternative dress sense, the kinds of guys you see on the tour are who appear inside. But strip away the clothes and you've got skinny, slim, well built (occasionally) twinks with hung cocks and nuts full of jizz. The action is a mix of solo stroking and hardcore fucking, at home, or out and about and always natural and believable.
The videos come with galleries as well and these hold various amounts of images each with good sized thumbnails leading to full size images of 667 x 1,000 which are scaled down to run in an automatic slideshow. This starts as soon as you click a thumbnail and if you want to see a particular image then be prepared to turn the slideshow off straight away, it's a bit quick.
You can also check out the model index where 101 guys come with write-ups and profiles, stats and links, and where you find a bevy of amateur looking models mainly aged around 18, 19 or 20. This is another good way of finding content as each guy is linked to his videos and galleries. There were also 353 feed site videos set out in the same way as the main content and with the same good viewing options, and a link to open the galleries from Emo Twinks, where there are eight solo alternative twink shoots to view.
This site, and all of the ones that are contained within in, runs on a really interactive and fun to use template design. I've seen this in use in several sites recently and it's the way to go for members' areas. You've got all kind of neat extras and features which really enhance your experience. You've got the basic stuff like comments boxes that you can fill out if you want to leave your feedback, and there is a star rating system to use as well. The models and scenes come with good information, and you can expand profiles to see more text if you want. There are also good search and sort options, including a very nice advanced search page, and some general site news on the home page. Index pages are easily numbered and present to navigation problems.
And you have this area called My Account with a drop-down list of functions. Here is where you find your favourites collection, should you store any, and you can share that with other members. You can also make up your own profile and share that, seeing which other members have also gone to the trouble to do this, and possibly even making contact with them. When you view a scene you can save clips from it into a playlist, or as many playlists as you care to create, so you can, in effect, make up your own compilation videos. And then you can share all that as well and see the playlists of other members. For even more interactivity you can log straight into the members' forum and start chatting, discussing and posting.
It's a really interactive members' area, it's fun to use and you can use as many or a few of these functions as you want. Either way you still get a good navigation system, easy viewing and no hassles.
Homo Scene, it seems, has merged into Homo Emo and stopped updating, but the site you join is actually a small part of a wider site with more content and weekly updates, so that's fine. And the content is mainly about alternative twinks and hardcore sex, with some solos. The quality is great, there are excellent viewing options these days, including HD videos, there are galleries and lots of interactive and fun extras including bonus videos and galleries.
