What you've got here is a collection of gay clips and galleries that appear to be built into a straight site, that comes with links to non-exclusive content, feeds, dating site links and stories. It's all rather confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it you will be able to download these clips in a couple of players, explore the straight bonuses and extras and wonder what on earth you are doing in here. Sorry, didn't enjoy this site and I will explain why:
First of all it always puts me off a site to see links to straight bonuses on the home page or at least to straight advertisements for DVDs and editors picks which turn out to be links to an up-sell dating site. It's like the site you've paid to join is trying to make even more money out of you. It also puts me off not to see upload dates with content you never know if there is going to be anything new here, or if all the content was added several years ago and then left. It actually took me a moment to notice the links in the left menu to gay under the words videos and pics Id tried the video and pictures links in the top menu and not really found much content. But using the left menu takes you to 60+ pages of videos and 66 pages of galleries.
This is not exclusive content as far as I can tell. I recognized some guys from other sites and sets, though there are plenty if pictures and clips to browse through. You'll find your clips in AVI or Quicktime formats with resolutions varying: 1.91Mbps @ 320 x 240 for example. The clip length also varied from ten seconds upwards. Some pages only had one sample pic per scene and then your downloading choice there was only one choice per clip - and it's hit and miss as to what file type you get. In fact the video pages were all rather sparse and plain, and the site generally didn't excite at all.
Some of the guys did and there is lots of variety in here, including some interracial action, twinks, fat guys and some pics of guys with really huge cocks morphed, obviously on many occasions. It's a kind of mix up of general gay porn with no focus, no search and sort options, no information and not very much going for it really.
And I'm not writing this because I'm in a bad mood or anything. But because this is what I see and feel as I look around the site. If I were craving gay porn Id think twice about signing up here. But if you're up for a bit of everything, some links to external sites of interest and some easy to grab porn clips, then it could be a fun site for a while.
I went to the Stories area to see if these were gay or straight. It was advertised as gay erotica but when I clicked any of the links to the stories I went to a page of recommended XXX sites more up-sells. So no stories then. I wasn't impressed with the dating site links either, although they were to gay sites these are all places you must pay to fully join.
There were comments and ratings opportunities with the videos and galleries though, and I liked the way the numbered index pages changed color (the numbers that is) so I could easily see where Id been. You can add things to a favorites area, which is always a nice touch but there were no slideshows or zip file downloads with the galleries which were easy enough to navigate. The top menu is misleading as the videos link doesn't take you to the same place as the left side link to videos, and the same goes for the pictures too; and the lack of search and sort options means you must click through the content one page at a time and see who and what comes up.
All in all Gay Cravings isn't going to satisfy your cravings for gay porn unless you've very desperate. There is a lot of content in here and it's easy to get to once you figure out how, but it's nothing very special and there are links to straight content and adverts, links that don't work (stories) and a general feeling that this membership area is only here to tempt you to part with more cash once you get inside.
