It's high quality, amateur fetish filmmaking at its best at Shotgun Video, a site that presents itself like a top of the range video store, but which lets you stream its exclusive movies. And it is all about CBT, cock and ball torture, with nipple play, pain and pleasure, but with very strict ground rules. Read the About page if you are in any doubt, but expect to find nothing but the promised fetish action. This is a large stock of movies; scenes from DVDs that you can also buy.
I counted 264 scenes when I was in the site and it looks like they update a new one each week, so the site is still growing. You don't have a movies area as such, you simply start off on the home page with page one of your collection, and then work your way through to page 66, with four scenes per page.
Each scene works in the same way when it comes to viewing, and it shouldn't give you any problems. The index pages display large sample shots, with title and run time and Id say scenes ran for an average of 15 minutes. You've got a brief description here plus a choice to play a preview, or to run the whole scene. There are also voting/rating opportunities for you. Click to play and in the large pop-up screen that appears, you find the streaming screen and a choice of speeds. The site auto-detects what is best for you, but if you want to be your own master then you can choose from 225, to 500 medium, to 1050 high and up to 1700 super-high, depending on what your connection can take.
Running the High version at 1050, I found the image was fine and even at full size it all looked good as was not pixelated. Medium was just about acceptable at full screen though you wouldn't want to go any lower on speed unless you absolutely had to. These are your only viewing options and there are no downloads, so you've got to stay as a member to view the exclusive content. You can click over to the video store and buy full DVDs from Shotgun Video though, so there is always that option.
I didn't see any galleries with the movies either, no screen caps, but I did see that the index pages came with another tab that said Photo Index. This listed out 276 scenes over 23 pages, but as far as I could make out these were simply links to the videos again, but with less detail. I never did find any photos, so unless I got something horribly wrong, the Photo Index is another version of the scene index.
There is not a lot more to be said about content or viewing, as the viewing choices are simple, except to let you know what kind of action you can expect to see. You need to check the About page if you're at all interested in getting involved, or at all worried about what these guys go through. It is all consensual and safe, there are boundaries, but these guys also know what they are doing. So, when some guy is getting pins inserted in his scrotum, or a metal rod inserted in his cock, or when someones nuts are so tied they are turning red, and when there is a whole set of clothes pegs on a mans nipples and nuts, you can rest assured that they are getting pleasure from it. You can tell that the other guys are too, as they jerk off over each other. For some extra content you've got a page with 29 varied bonus feeds and they will give you some relief from the hard S&M you've just been looking at. But the site also has some less obvious attractions and functions. For example, when you see the tiny, little orange boxes on the left saying Total Videos and Select a series, you hover your mouse over them and a long list of series pops up out of nowhere. That's a handy navigation tool, as is the search box over on the right. The top menu is simple enough with links to Home, Support, a Newsletter sign up page, the About page and the page of Bonus Feeds.
There's not a lot of interactivity or information though. There is no model index telling you who is who and how old they are, where are they from and so on, and you cant leave comments about what you see. A forum or similar would go down well here, as would comments and a favourites area.
But getting around inside Shotgun Video is easy, in fact, when you've seen the tour you've seen how the members' area works. The sign up process is with a good, solid company so there are no worries there and, if you want to own these extreme videos then check out the Video Store and order the hard copies.
Shotgun video certainly stays with what it promises and it totally knows what it is doing. It's in the CBT and BDSM and S&M fetish niche and it takes its fun to extremes at times, so only those who know what they are doing need apply. It's one of those sites where you can only stream the content, simply because it is also for sale, in their own video store. One thing is for sure, you're going to be hard pushed to find extreme, well made, good quality CBT content like this anywhere else.
